After impressing in TV shows Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan and Kumkum Bhagya, actress Mrunal Thakur is now creating waves in both the Hindi and Telugu film industries. The 31-year-old actress – who has played pivotal roles in films like Love Sonia, Super 30, Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna, has opened up about her personal life.

In a recent chat, she got candid about maintaining a balance between her career and life. She also spoke up about seeking therapy to cope with the stress.

Mrunal Thakur on freezing her eggs

While interacting with Humans of Bombay, Mrunal Thakur revealed she’s planning to freeze her eggs. The actress – while talking about finding the right balance between her life and career, said, “It’s important to balance life and career but you’re always trying to figure out how to strike that balance. I know relationships are tough, and that’s why you need to find the right partner who understands the nature of your job.”

Said Mrunal also revealed she’s planning to freeze her eggs. When informed that actress Mona Singh recently spoke about freezing her eggs, the ‘Sita Ramam’ actress said, “I’m also considering that.”

Mrunal on seeking therapy 

During the same conversation, Mrunal also spoke about seeking therapy and relying on her loved ones to get through low days. The actress said, “There were days where I didn’t want to wake up, I didn’t want to get out of my bed, but I did. Not for others, but for myself. I’m feeling low one day, two days, three days, weeks, months, but nobody’s going to care except your family.” She added, “I feel like it’s important to remind ourselves that if there are bad days, there will be good days.”

The actress further noted, “I was using my work as a band-aid, but the moment I packed up and went home, I was miserable. Now, I talk it out to get it out of my system. I do therapies, it’s important for everyone, especially actors who play different characters. I have people who ground me, my friends and my sister.” She added, “My cat also makes such a difference in my life.”

Mrunal upcoming projects

On the professional front, Mrunal was recently seen in the Telugu films Hi Nanna and The Family Star, She will soon star in Pooja Meri Jaan as well as a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production.
